The public library is open every Saturday to Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm and the public library is closed every Thursday and Friday including other public holidays declared by the government.

Our Achievement
Our achievements

1. Infrastructural development:

The public library is being operated in its own four-storey one-storey building.

2. Textbook collection

There is a huge collection of more than 2606 textbooks from birth to present.
3. ICT activities:

Readers are getting free internet and computer services. In 2016-17, the government has created its own website for the A2I public library - http://publiclibrary.jhenaidah.gov.bd. In addition, the email address librarian.dgpljhenaidah@gmail.com and the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/gpljhenaidah have been opened to provide online information services to the readers.

4. Private Public Library Registration:

At present there are 23 listed private public libraries under this public library.
